چکیده
The use of the World Wide Web has experienced extraordinary growth in last decades. become main source information for millions users. number websites offering content to users is countless. In order personalise according their needs, often have visit multiple, unconnected pages. Users perform a actions collect that requires concentration. If resources large, activity becomes unpleasant. problem increases when these tasks are performed frequently and repetitively. These time-consuming lead experience frustration disorientation during activity, causing loss concentration prolongs over time. Augmentation combines different technologies improve user on existing pages by adding from among other benefits. This article proposes as technique reduce interactions repetitive tasks. To support proposal, paper introduces Excore, browser extension allows end-users add automatically. presents benefits introduced this approach response drawbacks while performing activities Web. architecture platform its operations described means an example. A double evaluation addressed, one qualitative quantitative. results show Excore reduces 94.45% time complete task 80.75%.

Automating Repetitive Tasks in User Interaction
Computer users constantly face situations where repetitive tasks emerge and there is no easy way to automate them. Although there are several application launchers currently available, they lack of automating power to face the uniqueness of the repetitive tasks that arise from everyday usage. Many times, users have to resort to scripting languages and macro recorders to perform these tasks. How...
متن کاملOptimal discrete-time control of robot manipulators in repetitive tasks
Optimal discrete-time control of linear systems has been presented already. There are some difficulties to design an optimal discrete-time control of robot manipulator since the robot manipulator is highly nonlinear and uncertain. This paper presents a novel robust optimal discrete-time control of electrically driven robot manipulators for performing repetitive tasks. The robot performs repetit...
متن کاملEnabling user to user interactions in web lectures with history-aware user awareness
User awareness has become a popular feature in many social web applications. In classic text-based web-systems, user awareness features show how many users are online in a web application or how many users are accessing the same web page. When time-based media like web lectures are concerned this approach comes to its limits since time-based media are inherently different from classic text-base...
متن کاملmapping unimarc fields to frbr entities and user tasks
frbrizing opacs is viewed from two different angles: the system approach and the user approach. the first deals with different requirements of a system to be frbrized automatically. the second regards the user as the integral element which any system attempts to serve. due to the very huge number of marc records stored in our opac databases, data mining marc records to find different frbr entit...
متن کاملLearning Users’ Habits to Automate Repetitive Tasks
Adaptive Programming Environment (APE), a software assistant embedded into the VisualWorks Smalltalk interactive programming environment, watches what the user is doing, draws on machine learning to learn the user’s habits, and afterward offers to complete repetitive tasks on his or her behalf. The goal of the APE project was threefold: (1) to design an assistant able to automate repetitive tas...
